UTRIKESPOLITISKA INSTITUTET Utrikespolitiska institutet är en oberoende statlig forskningsanstalt som verkar i anknytning till riksdagen. Dess uppgift är att producera högklassig, aktuell information om internationella och ekonomiska relationer och EU-frågor. Genom sin forskning och sakkunskap stöder institutet samhälleligt beslutsfattande samt befrämjar debatten inom sitt verksamhetsområde både i hemlandet och utomlands.
Praktik på Utrikespolitiska institutet Utrikespolitiska institutet tar som praktikanter emot studerande samt sådana personer, som nyligen avslutat sina studier med inriktning på internationella relationer, och som är intresserade av att få praktisk erfarenhet av arbete inom ett forskningsinstitut. Praktikanterna verkar som assistenter för forskare inom dessas forskningsprojekt eller hjälper till vid ordnandet av seminarier och beredandet av publikationer. Praktikanterna kan också hjälpa till i biblioteket. Praktiken kan ske på hel- eller deltid. Meddelanden om lediga praktikantplatser sätts ut på denna sida. Transatlantic Post-Doc Fellowship for International Relations and Security (TAPIR) Call for Applications 2012 The Transatlantic Post-Doc Fellowship for International Relations and Security (TAPIR) is open to candidates who have recently received their doctorate in social and political sciences or economics and whose research focuses on topics of international relations and/or international peace and security issues. Fellowships are granted for a duration of 24 months to prepare Fellows for a career in policy-oriented and international research at renowned think tanks and political consulting research institutes. Fellows spend three eight-month stays at research institutions or think tanks participating in the program - at least one on the Eastern, and one on the Western side of the Atlantic. Participating institutes include: Chatham House, Center for International Relations (CIR), Center for a New American Security (CNAS), Center for Security Studies (CSS), European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS), Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA), Institute for Strategic and International Studies (IEEI), Institut français des relations internationales (IFRI), Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies (IFS), RAND Corporation (RAND), SAIS Center for Transatlantic Relations (SAIS), United States Institute of Peace (USIP), and German Institute for International and Security Affairs/ Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP). Fellows will be supervised by a researcher at each host institute, while being integrated into the relevant research units or projects. Fellows will have the opportunity to work on issues of major and immediate political significance, and to publish their work in journals or paper series that will be read by decision-makers at national and international levels. The Fellowship aims to involve participants actively in the work and research of leading international think tanks. It is not intended to primarily fund the completion of major individual publications or of academic peer-reviewed journal articles. The fellowship consists of
