The research work and expertise of the Institute support public policymaking and promote informed debate in Finland and internationally. Internships in the Finnish Institute of International Affairs The Finnish Institute of International Affairs regularly offers an internship to a student or graduate who specializes in international relations and is interested in gaining practical experience in working for a research institute. The intern works as an assistant to a specific researcher on a research project or assists in library duties, organizing seminars, or compiling publications.
